FAQ

1. Why was SOL Water created?

Kael Robinson and Mike Webster, Co Founders of SOL Water, initially read about the benefits of drinking solarized water in Dr. Joe Vitale’s book, Zero Limits. They decided to give it a try and experienced substantial benefits such as increased energy, less stress, and a new underlying sense of joy. It was then decided that solarized water should be made available to people around the world to help them become healthier and happier. Thus, SOL Water was born.

SOL Water aims to introduce the process and the benefits of drinking solarized water to the world with an additional focus on impeccable style, sustainability and giving back.

2. Where did this concept come from? Drinking solarized water is part of a therapy rooted in ancient history, holistic therapy and science.

Color therapy, or chromotherapy, is a type of holistic healing using light and color to improve an individual’s health and wellbeing for which there is evidence dating back thousands of years to the ancient cultures of Egypt, China and India. It’s also an integral part of the ancient Hawaiian healing tradition called Ho’oponopono, a practice of reconciliation and forgiveness.

In addition, science points to the fact that the penetration of sunlight through specific colored bottles changes the chemical, physical and biological properties of water, further explaining the therapeutic effects of solarized water on the body.

3. What makes SOL Water different than other water in blue bottles?

SOL Water bottles were researched, sourced and selected based on the beneficial therapeutic qualities of the rich cobalt blue color and the fact that they’re sustainable. SOL Water bottles not only guarantee quality when solarizing your water, but also provide you with the profound opportunity to make an impact in the world.

Imagine waking up with no drinking water. That’s ridiculous and we aim to change that. Proceeds from SOL Water bottles go to our charitable partners, including Water For People, supporting clean drinking water solutions in 3rd world countries and impoverished societies throughout the world.

4. Can I use any type of water in my SOL Water bottle?

The purification process works best with plain tap or filtered water. After purification you can add any garnishes and use as you please.

5. Do I need to wait for a sunny day to solarize my water?

No. The sun continues to emit energy on cloudy days which can be still be captured in your SOL Water bottle. On cloudy days, you’ll simply leave your SOL Water bottle in the sunlight for longer periods of time. The longer you solarize, the more potent the water gets.
